At Space by DïA, every abaya is made to order — crafted especially for you. Each piece is individually tailored after your order is placed, based on your selected size and length. To ensure the best possible fit, please read this guide carefully before ordering.

All pieces are made to order with a 2–3 week tailoring lead time. As your abaya is individually crafted according to the size and length selected at the time of purchase, we are unable to offer returns or exchanges due to incorrect size or length selection.

How to Measure Your Abaya

Our measurements refer to the abaya itself, NOT body measurements.

For the most accurate comparison, we recommend taking an abaya you already own that fits you well, laying it flat, and comparing its measurements with our size guide.

Shoulders — Measure across from shoulder point to shoulder point.

Bust — Measure the full circumference of the abaya around the bust.

Hips — Measure the full circumference of the abaya around the hips.

Sleeve Length — Measure from the shoulder point to the end of the sleeve.

Item Length — Measure from the highest shoulder point down to the hem.

Choosing Your Size

Use our Abaya Size Guide to find the size closest to your preferred fit.

Please remember that the measurements shown are finished garment measurements, not body measurements. Each design has its own cut, fabric and silhouette, so the fit may vary slightly from piece to piece.

If you're between sizes or prefer a more relaxed, flowing fit, we recommend choosing the larger size.

Choosing Your Length

Use our Abaya Length Guide to find your recommended item length based on your height.

The height recommendations are intended as a general guide, as individual proportions and preferred fit may vary.

If you're between heights or prefer a slightly longer abaya, we recommend choosing the next length up. If you plan to wear your abaya with heels, we suggest adding 1–2 inches.
